Valens Colligo Further Empowers Today’s Education Sector

SE 2016, Amsterdam – February 9, 2016 – Valens, the developer of HDBaseT™ technology and founder of the HDBaseT Alliance, will be demonstrating the value that HDBaseT brings to the education sector, and showcasing the Collaborative Classroom of today at the HDBaseT Alliance stand.  HDBaseT enables real-time, no-latency sharing of high-throughput content among teachers and students, whether in the same physical place or not.

With Valens Colligo, an HDBaseT Spec 2.0-compliant family of chipsets, new features, such as native USB 2.0 and daisy-chaining, enable touch-screen functionality and optimize screen sharing, for a distance of up to 100m/328ft.

At this year’s ISE, the HDBaseT Alliance will be showcasing NEC’s new HDBaseT-enabled Switcher and Receiver solution (NP01SW2), together with an NEC interactive ultra-short-throw projector. The NEC HDBaseT Switcher and Receiver solution is the world’s first device that enables the transmission of audio and video, controls, USB and PoE with one cable.
