About the Role

The CPM is the primary program leader and customer-facing point of contact, owning customer programs end-to-end, from initial engagement through development, qualification, production ramp and ongoing support. The role sits at the intersection of customer, business, product and engineering, translating customer needs into an internal execution plan and driving cross-functional alignment across R&D, Product, Sales, Operations, Quality and Customer Support.

What You Will Do

  • Be the main contact for your customers, building strong relationships across their engineering, purchasing and management teams.
  • Represent the customer inside Valens – understanding their real needs, priorities and concerns, not just what is written down.
  • Lead program reviews, kick-off meetings, and business and technical updates with customers.
  • Own the program plan: milestones, dependencies, risks and schedule, and take action early when something is off track.
  • Turn customer requirements into a clear plan for our internal teams, and make sure everyone is aligned.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the program even without formal authority over them, and make decisions when priorities conflict.
  • Guide customers through evaluation, design-in, samples, qualification and production ramp.
  • Work with Sales and Business Development so program execution supports the bigger business picture.
  • Own high-priority customer issues from start to finish, and make sure lessons learned turn into real improvements.

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers who trust you and want to keep working with you.
  • Programs that hit their milestones, quality and launch targets.
  • Issues that get resolved quickly.
  • Clear alignment across the teams involved.
  • A real contribution to customer retention, design wins and growth.

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • A strong technical understanding of hardware and software development, ideally with semiconductor experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing programs or projects, including complex and multidisciplinary ones.
  • Experience working directly with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, ODMs or other strategic customers.
  • The ability to lead a program from initial requirements all the way through production.
  • A good understanding of how customer needs connect to product roadmap, technical execution and business outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal English.
  • Experience working with global, multicultural and distributed teams.
